POSTPONED. Talking Food in Maine: Intimate Conversations with special guest, Leigh Kellis

~Event postponed~

We are saddened to let you know that,
due to a personal circumstance,
Leigh Kellis has regretfully had to postpone  being with us.

Rest assured we'll get her back on the calendar
as soon as it is possible!

Cherie Scott hosts Lincoln Theater's newest free series in which we explore deeply Maine's culinary scene.

Leigh Kellis is a mom who started the Holy Donut in Portland and Scarborough, Maine. The Holy Donut is more than donuts. It’s about adding positivity to the world. The business went from a dozen a day wholesale, to now 2 million hand cut donuts from scratch, per year.

Leigh has stepped away from the day-to-day operations of the donut business and has relocated to Hawaii for the year to focus on health and wellness and helps others achieve well-being too through retreats she leads in Paradise.

The program’s host, Cherie Scott, was born in Mumbai but now calls Maine her home. In 2015, she launched her culinary blog,, to share her signature recipes and nostalgic anecdotes of her youth in Mumbai while also celebrating the beauty of Maine and its gastronomic talent. Cherie is the creator and host of Mumbai to Maine's six-part television series in development with award-winning director Ryan Leighton and cinematographer Cody Mitchell. Cherie recently curated a six-part culinary series on regional Indian cuisine offered exclusively at the Stonewall Kitchen Cooking School in York, Maine.

This is a free event.

Presented in partnership with King Eider's Pub, Maine Coast Inn, Eat Maine Magazine and Horch Roofing.
